There are two kinds of circumstances under which you may meet our Placerville dentists and staff:
Dental Visit Scenario #1
You contact the Placerville Dental Group and make an appointment at your convenience for a comprehensive dental exam. We get to learn of your dental history, answer your questions, do a complete checkup and conduct a thorough cleaning. Together we discuss any problems that need to be addressed at a future exam and you make an appointment that will fit in nicely with your busy schedule. You leave happy because your teeth are clean and your dental roadmap is plotted and on course. That sounds nice and easy!
Dental Visit Scenario #2
Because of a broken or loose tooth, pain, swelling, injury or toothache, you contact us to help you out with your serious problem. During this appointment, we focus on getting what is broken fixed and what hurts feeling better. Your complete oral history and cleaning needs are not the focus right now — getting your problem fixed is our focus. Because you didn’t plan on this impacting your schedule, and your need is urgent, we do our best to give you same-day treatment. Is it nice and easy? Usually, but most importantly, your acute dental problem is resolved and we’ll worry about future appointments another day.
The Best Case Scenario
We hope to see you at the Placerville Dental Group under the first scenario. Regular cleaning of your teeth and gums, photographs and x-rays, analysis of your jaw alignment and oral cancer screenings – these are all part of our routine dental care. We want to keep your teeth clean, your gums healthy and your future dental health bright and trouble free. Please make an appointment with us soon to stay on track for regular dental care.
If you fall into the second scenario or are somewhere between the two, please do not hesitate to call 530-295-8000 for an appointment or stop by our office at 699 Main Street, Suite B, during regular business hours. If it has been a while since you’ve been to the dentist, even quite a while, we are not here to judge or scold you. We just want you to come in, let our dentists take a look at what needs to be done and get you back to feeling better. We look forward to meeting you and becoming your Placerville Dental Group!
