Placerville Dental Group is hosting a special dental health event on Saturday, November 9th, 2013 from 9:00 am to 1:00 pm. All veterans with a Veterans Administration Medical Benefits card or a copy of their discharge papers are welcome to receive complimentary dental work provided by the staff of the two dentistry groups. Services provided on this Veteran Appreciation Day will include examinations, required x-rays, fillings for cavities and tooth extractions.
Dr. Erik Matson, a dentist for the Placerville Dental Group and a veteran of the U.S. Navy, is the organizer for this event. He states, “I know the difficulties of getting dental coverage from the Veterans Administration.” As a result, Dr. Matson created the Veteran Appreciation Day to meet the immediate needs of veterans suffering from dental problems. The bottom line is that we care about people! Dr. Matson and Dr. Marjorie Castro will all volunteer their time and skill to provide necessary dental services.
Check-in for this event begins at 8:30 am. A copy of the Form DD 214 or a VA Medical Benefits card is sufficient for receiving free service.
